Anne Celeste Heche - an American actress, who appeared in diverse genres of cinema TV, theatre and stage - was well-known American. Her achievements include an Daytime Emmy Award, a National Board of Review Award as well as many other awards. Anne Lockhart (born Anne Kathleen Maloney June 6, 1953) is an American actress. She is most well-known for her role as Lieutenant Sheba on the TV show Battlestar Galactica (1978-1979). She's the daughter and granddaughter of actor Gene Lockhart. Lockhart began her acting career in the early years. The film T is for Tumbleweed, the first role for Lockhart in a film came aged four. Oscar nominations were given to the film's short documentary. Her mother invited her to a studio where she learned about how the film industry worked. Lockhart also appeared in a few seasons of Lassie. Dora in Jory in 1973 was her first feature film. In 1972, she turned 18 years old when she played her character as the daughter of Joan Crawford on The Sixth Sense. Joan was the only actress to appear in the series The Sixth Sense. Many believe that Anne rejected the role as Laurie Strode for John Carpenter's Halloween, a film from 1978. Jaime Lee Curtis was cast in its place. Carpenter stated that Anne was his first choice for the part, however, she declined. Anne cannot remember John Carpenter having contacted her and offering the position. It's possible one of Anne's agents declined it for her reasons without informing her. Glen Larson sent her an initial draft of a script that she was to use as an actor in the 1978 television program Battlestar Galactica. At first, she turned down the character because it seemed too fragile. Then Glen wrote a new part specifically for her, with the character that was stronger, Sheba. She was able to accept the Living Legend's script after having read its first pages. It ran for a single season. She co-starred in Joyride alongside Desi Arnaz Jr., Melanie Griffith (the daughter of Desi Arnaz Jr. and Lucille Bell), Robert Carradine and Melanie Griffith in 1977 and in The Dark Tower with Michael Moriarty (1987).
